The McKnight Group is comprised of two companies that work in close alignment. McKnight & Hosterman, Architects, Inc. provides design and architectural expertise, and McKnight Development Corp. serves as construction management.

Homer R. McKnight
Chief Executive Officer

Homer McKnight received his Bachelor of Architecture Degree from The Ohio State University. He holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate and current registrations in Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, New York, Texas, Virginia, Ohio, Tennessee, West Virginia, Kentucky, Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and North Carolina.

Homer has 40 years of experience in all phases of architectural and construction practice and has built more than 500 projects of all types. He has also led more than a thousand volunteers to construct chapels, clinics, and schools in 39 countries on 5 continents over the last 30 years. The work has included projects with Hispanics in South Florida and American Indians in New Mexico and Arizona. His primary responsibilities include client relationships, administration, design, and project management.

David K. McKnight
President

David McKnight received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing from Muskingum College. He has more than 20 years of experience with McKnight Development Corporation. His duties include project management, planning, marketing, office coordination, and he serves the Southwestern Ohio, Western Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Georgia areas.

Mark A. Siebert
Vice President, Northern District

Mark Siebert received his Bachelor of Religious Education from Great Lakes Bible College and a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. He has over 17 years of experience in construction management, ministry/facility development, and church growth. His responsibilities include client relationships, project development and management, estimating, marketing, and personnel management. Mark serves the Northern Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, South Dakota, and North Dakota areas.

Philip J. Tipton, AIA
Vice President of Architecture

Philip Tipton received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati.  He is member of the American Institute of Architects, holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate, and holds current registrations in California, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio, South Carolina and Tennessee.  He has more than twelve years of experience with The McKnight Group.  His primary responsibilities include client relationships, schematic design, and personnel management.  Philip serves the Virginia, North and South Carolina, Florida, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, California, Oregon, and Washington areas.

Ronald E. Zinn, CSI
Sr. Project Architect

Ronald received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University. Ronald has been with The McKnight Group for over 15 years, specializing in construction documentation. Ronald’s professional experience includes work in commercial, healthcare, and church projects. His primary responsibilities include project oversight, personnel management, general administration, and day-to-day operations of the Working Drawings Department.

Christopher P. Sekol, P.E.
Structural Engineer

Chris received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio. He holds registrations as a Professional Engineer in Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and is a current member of NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors). His primary responsibilities for The McKnight Group are structural engineering design and documentation.

Jack E. Knisley
Field Coordinator

Jack attended Vennard College and Circleville Bible College. He has over 35 years of experience in most phases of construction; 18 of those years have been with McKnight Development Corporation. His responsibilities include management of field operations, the warranty department, and safety procedures within the company.

Dale Turner
Senior Project Coordinator

Dale attended Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio. He has nearly ten years of experience in church leadership as trustee, board member, and business administrator. Dale is in his eleventh year with The McKnight Group and currently serves as Senior Project Coordinator, where he manages construction activity and supervises the office construction staff.

Jennifer L. Snider
Interior Designer

Jennifer received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from Ohio University. She has 13 years of experience in facilities planning and interior design. She is involved with projects in each part of the McKnight process from design through construction. Her responsibilities include managing the Interior Design Department, exterior and interior material specifications, and furniture contracts.

Shirley M. McKnight
Interior Designer

Shirley McKnight has her certificate in Interior Design. She has over 24 years experience with McKnight Development Corporation and McKnight & Hosterman, Architects, Inc. and provides the companies' interior design services, specializing in kitchen design.
