The McKnight Group is comprised of two companies that work in close alignment. McKnight & Hosterman, Architects, Inc. provides design and architectural expertise, and McKnight Development Corp. serves as construction management.

Homer R. McKnight
Founder, Chief Executive Officer, Architect, Owner

Homer received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from The Ohio State University. He also holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate and current registrations in numerous states around the country. 

He has over forty years experience in all phases of construction and architectural practice and has built more than five hundred projects of all types. He has led more than a thousand volunteers to construct chapels, clinics, and schools in thirty-nine countries on five continents over the last thirty years. His primary responsibilities include client relationships, administration design, and project management.

David K. McKnight
President, Company Officer, McKnight Group Representative, Owner

David received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and Marketing from Muskingum College and has over twenty years of experience with McKnight Development Corporation.  David is also a trained Church Health Consultant with New Church Specialties and Natural Church Development. His primary responsibilities are leading The McKnight Group and partnering with churches as a McKnight Representative. He serves the Southwestern Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Montana, North & South Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Utah areas. 

Mark A. Siebert
Vice President, Company Officer, McKnight Group Representative

Mark received his Bachelor of Religious Education from Great Lakes Bible College and a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University and is ordained as a Minister in the Christian Church/Church of Christ movement. Mark is also a trained Church Health Consultant with New Church Specialties and Natural Church Development. He has over twenty years of construction management, ministry/facility development and church growth experience.  Included in his responsibilities are client relationships, project development and management, estimating, marketing, personnel management and website management; he serves Central and Northern Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas areas. 

Philip J. Tipton, AIA,NCARB
Vice President of Architecture, McKnight Group Representative

Philip received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and holds a National Council of Architectural Registration Boards Certificate, as well as current registrations in numerous states. Philip is also a trained Church Health Consultant with Natural Church Development. He has over fourteen years of experience with The McKnight Group. His primary responsibilities include developing client relationships and overseeing the architectural operations of the company.  Philip also personally handles schematic design for many projects. Philip serves clients in the states of Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Delaware, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Washington, Oregon, and California.

Ronald E. Zinn, CSI
Sr. Project Architect

Ronald received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture from The Ohio State University. Ronald has been with The McKnight Group for over 15 years, specializing in construction documentation. Ronald’s professional experience includes work in commercial, healthcare, and church projects. His primary responsibilities include project oversight, personnel management, general administration, and day-to-day operations of the Working Drawings Department.

Christopher P. Sekol, P.E.
Structural Engineer

Chris received his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio. He holds registrations as a Professional Engineer in Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Virginia, Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky, and Tennessee, and is a current member of NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors). His primary responsibilities for The McKnight Group are structural engineering design and documentation.

Dale Turner
Senior Project Coordinator

Dale attended Otterbein College followed by over fifteen years working in retail management. He then worked for ten years as a church business administrator during which time he oversaw an expansion project constructed by The McKnight Group at his own church. It was in large part due to the relationships developed during that process that Dale eventually came to work with The McKnight Group in May of 1999 as a project coordinator. Dale brings to the table not only many years of management experience but a keen ability to see each project from the church’s point of view.

Jennifer L. Snider
Interior Designer

Jennifer received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interior Design from Ohio University. She has over thirteen years of experience in facilities planning and interior design. Her duties include managing the Interior Design Department, exterior and interior material specifications, and furniture contracts. She is involved with projects in each part of the McKnight process. Jennifer’s professional experience includes retail, commercial, educational and church projects.
